Why should I chose Racoon Hair Extensions?
Why do I have to train in Racoon Hair Extensions?
How do I train and become Racoon Certified?
Do I have to train in Racoon Hair Extensions if I am already trained by another company?
Yes. All hair extension brands vary in their application and techniques, so in order to guarantee that you are giving your clients the very best service and for us to include you in our Certified Racoon Salon register, we require you to train specifically in our systems.
What Quality of hair do you offer?
All of our hair is of premium quality and ethically sourced from trusted suppliers that we have been working with for over 30 years.
What does ethical sourcing mean and why is it important?
All our hair is collected through the act of ’tonsuring’ which is donation. By collecting hair this way, it ensures the best quality – but also the reliability of the supply chain, ensuring that you will work with the finest quality time after time.
Will Racoon Hair Extensions damage the hair?
All of our systems are scientifically proven not to damage the hair fibre when fitted and removed by a Racoon Certified Extensionist and are endorsed by a leading Trichologist.
Once you have decided to train in Racoon Hair extensions we will ensure that you and any of your team who you require, are fully trained in the system/s chosen and explain the equipment that you will require.
We supply you with marketing support, including social media assets to guide you.
Our comprehensive training programmes offer advice on marketing your extensions business, including how to price initial and follow up appointments.
We also offer refresher training.
We are very happy to see and re-post any of your Racoon Hair Extension transformations on our social pages which can provide you with exposure.
How do I price my hair extension services?
On the training courses we go through our recommended structure for pricing to ensure that you are charging adequately for your time and also for the cost of the hair. Each salon will decide on their own specific pricing structure.
How much does your hair cost?
Our hair is very competitively priced for its unique quality and softness. Each of our ranges varies depending upon the length and type of hair. To enquire please get in touch with our service team here.
Why can't I buy your hair extensions in online stores?
Presently we do not offer on-line purchasing of our hair except for Racoon Certified Salons and Stylists. To enquire about our hair or becoming a Racoon Certified Salon, please submit an enquiry via "Become a Racoon" Salon at top right of this page.
Our Xtend Haircare products have been specifically formulated to ensure all attachments remain strong and that the hair itself remains in the optimum condition throughout the time your client is wearing it.
Our hair extensions are only guaranteed when your client is using the Racoon Xtend Haircare range as some other shampoos, conditioners, sprays etc may contain ingredients that affect the bonds, for example alcohol or sulphates, meaning that your client’s hair extensions will not last as well or stay in optimum condition.
Our hair extensions are a natural product, and as such need to be treated with care. Using the correct aftercare and recommended heat temperatures lots of customers have enjoyed the same set of extensions for up to 12 months!
Yes absolutely, using professional products you can tint our extensions with a maximum of 6% / 20 volume developer. Neither high-lift tint or bleach products should be used as this will damage the extensions. Please free to check with our support team anytime if unsure.
